Bi-metal Clad Pipe

Bi-metal clad pipe is a double-layer metallurgically bonded pipeline product composed of a base metal and a cladding layer.The outer base pipe generally uses carbon steel or low alloy steel to provide high mechanical strength,pressure resistance and structural rigidity.The inner cladding layer adopts corrosion-resistant or wear-resistant alloy materials such as stainless steel,duplex stainless steel,Monel,Hastelloy and titanium alloy.

The base layer and cladding layer achieve complete metallurgical combination under special forming processes.There is no gap between two metal layers.The pipe can withstand bending,flanging,hot forming and full penetration welding without delamination,peeling or blistering.

Compared with solid alloy pipes,bi-metal clad pipe greatly reduces raw material costs while maintaining excellent corrosion resistance.Different from mechanically lined pipes,the metallurgical bonding interface can adapt to alternating temperature and high-pressure working conditions with higher long-term operation reliability.
