U bend is a special continuous pipe fitting shaped like the letter U,widely used in heat exchange equipment and circulation piping systems.It is manufactured by bending a single straight pipe into a 180-degree curved structure,forming two parallel straight pipe sections connected by a smooth semicircular arc.Different from conventional 90-degree bends and elbows used for pipeline direction transition,the U bend is designed to realize medium flow reversal,making it an essential component for heat exchangers,cooling systems and closed circulation pipelines.It can be produced via cold bending or hot induction bending according to material and operating parameter requirements.
