Stainless steel lined composite steel pipe,also known as bi-metal clad pipe,is manufactured through metallurgical composite technology.It consists of two tightly bonded metal layers:the outer base pipe made of carbon steel,and the inner corrosion-resistant stainless steel lining layer.
The outer carbon steel substrate provides high tensile strength,impact resistance and pressure bearing capacity to bear structural loads and external force.The inner stainless steel lining directly contacts the conveying medium,effectively resisting oxidation,water erosion,weak acid,alkali and other corrosive fluids.Metallurgical fusion eliminates gaps between two metal layers.The pipe can undergo bending,flanging,welding and thermal deformation without lining peeling,bubbling or delamination.
Compared with solid stainless steel pipe,it significantly reduces raw material cost.Compared with mechanically lined pipe,metallurgical bonding delivers superior reliability under temperature fluctuation,high pressure and long-term continuous operation.It forms a complete anti-corrosion pipeline system matched with composite elbows,tees and flanged fittings.
